“My first good coffee in the North Country was at PB&Js Café in Lowville. I was on a date with my husband; they have an amazing menu and different coffees. I ordered a bagel and a latte, then I saw something that brightened my day- their coffee of the month was Colombian Coffee! I don’t even remember the taste, but I remember how I felt drinking something that was grown in my homeland, harvested by my own people, hand-picked by hard working farmers in the beautiful mountains of Colombia. Coffee is a symbol of energy, family, and love. But Colombian coffee is more for me – it’s part of my life, every sip has a history and I decided take part in that.

I would like to say I convinced my husband to start roasting coffee, but in reality, it was his idea – by encouraging me in doing something I’m passionate about. What could be better than keeping my job as a 24/7 mom and creating my own business roasting beans from my beloved homeland in Colombia? I’m still learning, practicing, and drinking our coffee to bring to your home a little bit of ours.”
